Chicken stew

Ingredients for 4:

  • 1 unit of Chicken or whole hen
  • 4 units of potatoes peeled and chopped in large size
  • 2 units of green bananas chopped by hand not very small
  • 1 unit of Yuca cut and peeled
  • 1 unit of Onion finely chopped with tomato
  • 1 unit of chicken broth cube
  • 1 tablespoon of Saffron or color
  • 1 handful of Parsley
  • 1 bunch of Cilantro
  • 1 package of Chopped
  • 1 pinch of salt to taste
  • 1 cup of potato and yucca stripes

Preparation:

Bring the water to a boil with the chicken or hen, add the plantain and cassava and the chicken cube. When the chicken is ready, add the potato and the other ingredients. All the ingredients must be about 20 minutes boiling.

It can be accompanied with a salad and with the chicken with which the sancocho was made, take it out and make a stew of tomato and long onion and pepper, a cube of garlic and oil, cook it and add it on top of the chicken and serve the sancocho , the salad, the chicken with stew and also rice and with a delicious juice.
