Rice with Spinach

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken broth tablet
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 2 cups of water
  • ¾ cup cooked and chopped spinach
  • ¼ grated onion
  • 1 egg
  • 2 butter spoons
  • 1 and a half tablespoons of heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated cheese

Preparation:

1. Melt half the butter, fry the rice, then add the water with the chicken broth tablet and leave to boil until dry.

2. Cover and cook over low heat until the rice opens.

3. Separately, we melt the rest of the butter and fry the spinach with the onion, add the rice, the beaten egg, the milk cream and the cheese.

4. We mix and in a greased refractory we pour the mixture and put it in the hot oven for about 20 minutes.

5. We serve hot.
