Castilian soup

Ingredients for 2:

  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of ground chili
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
  • 1 liter of water
  • 150 grams of old bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper

Preparation:

1. Peel and slice the garlic.

2. Blanch the garlic in the olive oil. To blanch the garlic, place it in a saucepan with cold water and bring to a boil. When it starts to boil, remove from the heat and strain all the water.

3. Cut the bread into thin slices and toast it. Add the bread and ground chili to the saucepan with the garlic. Spice with salt and pepper. Mix.<

4. Incorporate the water.

5. Add the sweet paprika.

6. Cover the soup and let it cook for about 20 minutes.

Serve piping hot and add an egg to each individual bowl to cook in the heat of the soup.
