Ingredients for 6:
- 2 cups of broth or chicken broth
- 1 cup of milk (240 milliliters)
- 3 pieces of fresh corn
- ½ piece of white onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
Preparation:
1. Heat a saucepan with the olive oil and butter, fry the onion and garlic until the first is transparent and the second soft. Then add the shelled corn. Cook for three to four minutes.
2. Add the milk and chicken broth or broth and cook the creamed corn for three to four more minutes.
3. Grind the corn soup mix in the blender along with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste until you get a smooth cream.
4. Place a portion of hot natural corn cream on each plate. You can decorate with homemade croutons, baked tortilla strips or cooked corn kernels.
